Is there a hidden message there for the kiddies?

Superman: Parents blown up.
Batman: Parents shot.
Spiderman: Parents dead. Uncle Shot.

And these are, by far and away, the most popular and long lasting comics with a jillion spin-offs, reincarnations, etcetera.

Then there's Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman: Has a mother. From a single parent, broken home on an island inhabited only by women.

And surprise...she's tying up folks left and right with a lasso. The first issue looks like a bondage marathon.

And Batman takes a ward, living alone with him and a butler and dresses his ward in tights to fight crime.

These comic writers were & are seriously sick puppies.
