Review some more
1) New York's heat island affect has not changed much in a long time. It cannot be cited to explain a sudden increase in New York's temperature. Man, that's just silly.
2) You need to bone up on catastrophe theory. Not everything can be explained in a gradual change from one level to another. Many things reach critical points and flip from one state to another state that is significantly different from the one before it.
3) If I make the usual disclaimer that one heatwave does not prove a manmade global catastrophe, will it deter you from stacking up any straw men?
