Death blow to astrology?
It's my understanding that the recent decision by the International Astronomical Union to redefine the term "planet" has been protested by astrologers because the new designation of Pluto negates its use in astrological charts. Pluto has been demoted to a new, general category which includes thousands of small worlds in the asteroid belt and the outer reaches of the solar system. It must be sobering to the members of the IAU that by merely taking a vote they were able to alter the mystic influence of these worlds on our love affairs and business transactions.
