"one's own still small voice"

That's an interesting concept.

Just WHAT is it we are accessing?
Is it the cosmic road map that gives us clues or directions on which course to take?
I know lately that if I need an answer for something; I just mentally think of it, then listen and I seem directed properly in the right direction. Always.
If I had done something like this before and it had worked, I just might have gotten foolhardy....or been alarmed.
Now some of you will scoff, and say that I'm talking to myself, but it's not like that. There's a certain trust involved in the outcome, and a certain daring outlook to take it, but somehow it's working.

Now, if people listen to fortune tellers and do damage to themselves and their families, then they should be locked up. I never took anyone's advice but my own (ask my mom about this.) Now, tonight in Black Mountain they have a guest speaker who wrote the book "The Hell I Can't!) and I'm almost tempted to go see him. However, never let anyone tell you CAN"T do any one thing. It can crush your dreams and have you living a cloistered life. As my kids grew older, I encouraged their dreams, and with a bit of caution, let them go for it. They have exceeded my expectations.

Now, my mother on the other hand thought I was nuts doing what I just did. Quit my job, put the house up for sale, leave my friends and family and move to a new town out of state. She couldn't see me doing it. (But then, she's not the one for adventure, either). I got upset with her when she told me I couldn't do it, like I was going to FAIL or something. And I think the fear of failure is strong in many.
My advice to all........is to go for it. Swallow your fear, look around, move slowly and be determined. you'll get there.

And thanks for that photo from the Twilight Zone. I remember that series and I used to watch it Friday night so I could get creeped out a bit. That particular episode did the trick....;~)
