Yes, an intuitive (read sensitive to various broadcast frequencies) individual can give a much better picture of a person than someone less sensitive. But then that person, will likely not need astrological charts at all either.
The key is how do folks use their readings and fortunes? Do they use them as an escape mechanism. (i.e if told they will face hard times and be poor, do they let that become a self-fulfilling prophecy or do they go out of their way to prove their reading wrong and in the process harm themselves or their loved ones by rash or not well thought out actions?)
For too many, astrology can interfere in the daily decision making process or determine who someone chooses to associate with. They become like William Shatner in the Twilight Zone episode with the little bobble headed demon fortune telling machine in the small burg:
"Should I live on the west coast?"
"Should I live on the east coast?"
"Should I stay right where I am?"
"Should I move to North Carolina?"
;-)
As such astrology can get in the way of one's own still small voice, which knows the answers to all this stuff already without needing to do any charts or consulting any mediums or seers.
