Indeed it is horrific

But there are several warnings in there for us.
If we take the conservative viewpoint of eliminating dictators and their regimes, then it is our duty to spread democracy and freedom by killing Kim Yong and his million man army. (Of course we can't excise them with smart bombs or by going door to door and asking them if they're "with us or against us", nor do we have the men or resources to do that.), so regime change is out.

How clever is the disenfranchised Kwon Hyuk, the former military attaché at the North Korean Embassy in Beijing, also the chief of management at Camp 22. He felt no pity ordering and observing the slaughter of childrena nd their parents because he BELIEVED they were "dissidents".
>"I only felt that they WERE the enemies. So I felt no sympathy or pity for them at all. Because all of us WERE LED TO BELIEVE that all the bad things that were happening to North Korea were THEIR fault."
So, should we "forgive" Kwon Hyuk, now that he's seen the light of human decency? Now that he believes he was brainwashed......er...a victim of propaganda?

I think I'm going to stop right there and leave it at that.
Led to believe, clever propaganda. Lynch mob mentalities.
THAT"S why I have an aversion to being manipulated by the right who would prefer to repress free speech in this country, who would point their finger at me and call ME a traitor, or that I "support the terrorists".
There are plenty on this board who think that way and would end up supporting a presidency, er dictatorship like that.

Thanks Tom, I'm sure the airing of this will inspire second thoughts around the world, but not for the poor North Koreans who are trapped in a country of natural selection and an imperial patriarchal society.
I'm sure this goes on everywhere to some extent. I mean look at US, and we're supposed to set the bar on morality!
