Put on a pressures suit, and pressure boots, and weight them to Mars mass equivalent. Find a convenient cliff, and try to rappel down it.
I can think of at least one individual with the requisite skills to try this, and perhsps you know him as well, ID. Maybe you could persuade him to undertake the experiment by volunteering to be his rope man.
Of course, that means two suits, two pairs of pressure boots, two sets of weights, two sets of pressure gloves.
Be sure to use a high cliff in a remote area for the first attempt. About 40 m , say 120 feet or so, should do just fine.
After all, we would like the experiments's results to be as realistic as possible.
Of course, there's always the problem of funding. Well, if the right person were to volunteer, I'm pretty sure that obtaining adequate funding for this experiment would be pretty easy.

Now THAT would be a great experiment
