It's sort of overwhelming to seriously consider my points. The difference is TotalFinaElf is France. - no just a corporate entity.

I hate to pull a T, but did anyone actually read the link?

France was so concerned about their interests that they sent their 'diplomats' to the opposition groups who might attain power, to try and keep their corrupt dealings in place! Naturally the enemies of Saddam saw Saddam's buddies - FRANCE - as their enemy.

That's the story here. To tell the truth I'm shocked at how little comment it has generated - as this is not the level of facts and/or honesty you'll find on any media outlet.

I guess our US mindset can't get around some 'western' nation sacrificing US lives, deliberately, only to reap a financial gain at our expense.

France spent 6 years building up and using the fields - they spent decades building their multi-billion empire in Iraq.

They wouldn't give it up without a fight. They fought tooth and nail diplomatically to prevent the overthrow and now they are fighting to remover the France-unfriendly government.

And a fight is what they are giving.

I'm giving you folks here the heads up. This will go 'mainstream' shortly.
