The people killing us in Iraq
Are Iraqis, not your mythical foreign terrorists. Thats been a rumsfeldian 'known known' since about the middle of the second year of the war. Your notion that we have somehow turned Iraq into a 'terrorist sponge' where we have drawn people who would be figting us elsewhere is in itself a counterfactual universe, Its simply not true.
