Clearly the situation in Iraq, following the Bush "stragegy", is getting worse. The democratically elected government controls most of the Green Zone with the aid of foreign troops. In fact, if it weren't for the foreign occupiers the government would collapse immediately.
Trying what hasn't worked longer and harder will obviously fail, too. The time has passed.
If you keep doing what you've been doing you're going to keep getting what you've been getting. Old saying. Not genius, but beyond the grasp of True Believers.
Anyone who believes Bush wasn't lying when he said the US doesn't torture, won't be able to track that, either. Anyone who wants to blame anyone other than Bush & Co. for losing this situation can believe Bush wasn't lying, too.
Clearly irrational.
