When the JPG is just too big....

Doug Ellison — 11/27/2006 8:54:31 AM (archived)

I don't like pimping my own site too much BUT...

http://www.unmannedspaceflight.com/index.php?showtopic=3326

Taking on that exact issue. All but the very largest JPG's have worked for me in Photoshop CS2. Some are being re-released as JP2's which is a good thing, but take even more 'grunt' to be loaded with a CS2 plugin.

On the upside, the HiRISE team are close to releasing a java based tool for browsing HiRISE images which, like every HiRISE related piece of software is called HiSomething.....

I'm looking forward to HiView :)
