re: Gullies from MRO - just what I was waiting for
I think that neatly seals the story of gully formation by confined and lubricated avalanches. Nothe the nice avalanche scar on the upper left feeding into the gully.
It may take science a little while to catch up, but it's nice being right.
That makes LPSC a MUST for me, this year. Maybe I'll put an abstract in:-
"MRO images confirm CO2 avalanche model for Gully Formation on a dry frozen Mars"
