The famous Amritsar Massacre in India in 1919, quoted as the worst of that time, claimed at most about 1,000 lives, and the British general involved was condemned, censured, and forced to resign. Saddam did at least that almost every day during the uprisings, including 5,000 dead by nerve gas in one village.
Go back and read the link I put in that post, and tell me this is what the British did in India, or even the apartheid leaders in South Africa.
