Examples of two people who very obviously have let their own personal ambitions override any genuine interest they may have in the country. Were they truly interested in the principles they claim are important, they wouldn't run. They would support someone who could win.
Hillary isn't liked by much of the Democratic population, and energizes Conservatives the same way any government subsidy not to a farmer or large corporation does. She doesn't have a chance. Wouldn't be surprised to see smart Republican money go her way in the primaries.
Hillary Clinton Launching Presidential Run
Barack is inexperienced beyond belief, a good-looking, charismatic guy whose support is a mile wide and an inch deep. People would like to like him, will say they like him, and when it comes time to vote for him just won't do it. If he were interested in anything but himself he'd stay out 8 or 10 years and build a record. If he's as good as he thinks he is he'd be a shoo-in by then. As it is, I think the Rs would love to see him nominated.
Obama Launches White House Bid
Two people who have both indicated they don't care what happens to the country as much as they want personal aggrandizement.
