Obama is smart, articulate and charismatic, and he has some good ideas, all missing from the White House since the Clinton era. But his lack of experience makes him a very problematic choice, even to those he appeals to.
Hillary is smart and experienced and I like her politics, but she's not very exciting as a candidate and she comes across (probably with some justification) as a bit of an opportunist. McCain or Giuliani could defeat her, and either might make a good president, if it wasn't for the Bush legacy which makes it unlikely any Republican could get elected. A Clinton/Obama vs McCain/Giuliani contest might be a dead heat if Bush can hold it together in Iraq for the next two years. But I don't think that's going to happen. Other than that, no one else, Rep or Dem, appeals much to me.
