I guess the issue is...
I dont debate he achieved fusion, and I dont debate he is a great physicist- what concerns me is his claim that its a given that he can scale it up to be a power source. As an investor I would want proof.
I have not seen that proof- and not seen real experts in the field say they agree with his claim. He, himself, claimed he had the data to prove his claim- so let the scientists evaluate it and give their opinion. I am not qualified to do so- its not my field- but many are, contrary to his claims otherwise. If other good scientists say he even MIGHT be right then fund the program as much as possible...
