Oh, here we go again, labeling. If you'd actually read what someone said, you'd understand that I in no way defend Hugo Chavez. I don't blame America in any way for what atrocities the man may do. I'm simply making the point that it's up to Venezuela to deal with the consequences and to keep our noses out of it.

Maybe it's time for you to explain just what you'd do to deal with the outrage you seem to be feeling because here's the history Tom. What we've seen in the past is people like you starting out as you're doing, pointing out to your fellow citizens the really bad things that are occurring in places where socialism rears its ugly head. No big deal educating people if that's where it stopped. But no. There's always that next step. The illumination about the trend is just the beginning. The next stage is to tie in that move to the left with the horrific threat it brings to freedom loving people everywhere. Somehow left out of the debate is the fact that run-amok capitalism helped empower the socialists when the poor working class were exploited by the huge multinational corporations.

Extremes in political ideology feed off of one another. One cannot grow easily without the excesses of the other. But you'd never acknowledge the excess of capitalism. No, of course not. It's this perfect system, absolutely immune to greed and the quest for more and more power.

Since you've been so good at putting words in other's mouths, here's some of your medicine back pal. We all know what your intentions in Venezuela are:

The US simply has to be proactive to remove that devil Chavez. It's not enough to allow the Venezuelans to figure things out on their own. My God. We might actually have to pay more at the pump while they're going through their growing pains. Those stupid people. They're just sheep being led to the slaughter. Only our special forces and intelligence community are capable of stopping this insanity by finding those "freedom-loving" patriots in the Venezuelan countryside, arming them with our freedom weapons, and teaching them to wipe those commie bastards off the face of the Earth. Who cares if, after they've seized control, they rape and execute thousands after shocking them with cattle prods and give their surviving children to the ruling elite. Those bastards had it coming to them anyway. We'll let God sort them out. He hates commies too.
