I realize you must have a great passion for the English language. I do, too. My favorite book is actually the Dictionary.
I understand your angst in what appears to be the degradation of the language.
However, the WAY you are proceeding with your obvious disgust is completely overshadowing your original complaint.
Do you realize how you are coming across?
Is this not just as reprehensible as the obliteration of the written word?
I can actually feel utter disdain/loathing in your virtual voice.
If an outsider were to read your text, I fear they would dismiss you as a hate monger.
Was this your objective? I believe there MUST be a better, more productive way to get your message to others.
What do you do for a living? Are you a teacher?..If not, have you thought about teaching....English?...Become one of those impassioned mentors who paints the words for children on a canvass of possibilities.
Needless to say, not every child would appreciate this, BUT...to ignite the passion in one soul...
It is a beginning....with no end..............
Please re-think, and choose your words carefully....do you want to be known for propagating hate?...Do you want this to be your legacy?....
