The bar couldn't set be any higher.

Two counts of treason:

1) Conspiracy to deliver military material to a nation hostile to the United States in the expectation of cash payment.

2) Conspiracy to conduct a foreign policy and an illegal war independent of and in direct contradiction to specific legislation of the Congress of the United States.

Ask yourself, honestly, if he had done this for any other purpose than to fight Communism, would you still be supporting him so faithfully?
