Crop Circle Making is a "sport" in the English countryside during the summer
Some have been caught, some have been arrested and others are paid to make them while filming. It's an art-form. But even the best circle-makers there don't lay claim to them all, and even THEY have unusual, haunting, unexplainable things happen to them before, during and after their circle making.
So there is a phenomena that crosses many boundaries and everyone is thrown into a heap of intended/unintended consequences and synchronicities.
