If I can't explain something...
During a meeting with astronomy clubs presidents, I was literally harassed by a friend (Giles) who saw something he said was one of the Belgian wave UFO's of 89-91.
He was upset because a book that was shown during that reunion, gave an explanation he could not admit: official astronomers declared those sightings were secret US planes....I also don't think it is possible.
But we had 2 very different approaches:
Giles needed an explanation, rejected the official one and dared suggest his own: ET...
I had no explanation and let the matter go, accepted my ignorance and chose not to dwell on it. Because if I dared an explanation and it turns out to be bery different, then I'd be much more upset.
