Scientific documentation

I've seen real scientists commenting on the "scientific methodology" used on these things, particularly by Levengood. Basically, most of it is discarding data that doesn't fit the theory or bending theories to fit the data.

There is no "Special Crop Circle Investigative Unit" in the Air Force, and five seconds' application of that seldom-used facility called "common sense" would see the problem:

"Hi, I'm from the Air Force Top Secret Crop Circle Investigative Unit, and while I'm checking this area out--in uniform and in front of a load of people by the way, when I could have waited for the place to empty out later--I'm going to pull some random strangers over and tell them ALL ABOUT what I do, where we're based, and probably my Social Security number while I'm at it."

Assuming the interview wasn't made up out of whole cloth, the guy was pulling their legs. Note how the huge holes in his story are simply glossed over.

You're being had, Lindy. I can take shots of that kind of helicopter every other day around here. National Guard and many other outfits use them. Did anyone check the insignia out, or wonder why an Air Force copter was unmarked?
