Hoaxers

People who are investigating crop circles feel the same way about about the hoaxers as do antique dealers feel about those making profitable reproductions.

Yes, they muddy the waters but they are like Elvis impersonations.
There still some satisfaction in it. Actually, Matthew Williams, one of the hoaxers who was caught and arrested has some pretty interesting experiences while making crop circles that show us how bizarre the phenomena CAN be:
