One point

I've heard Olbermann's editorial now replayed a number of times on the radio and there was one telling point during his speech that shows he's not the partisan hack people would like to paint him.

He states that one thing that Karl Rove has said is that his intention is to install a permanent Republican majority to the government and Olbermann expresses not only his disgust about that ideal and how wrong that would be to our national character but also that the idea of a Democratic permanent majority would be just as unsettling.

I'm sorry but there's a major distinction between the two. I can never imagine Ann Coulter having a humble moment where she would show disgust at her own party for its abuses or potential for power grabbing. Never have I heard Olbermann pronounce "his" party free of warts or completely demonize all Republicans or conservatives. His targets have always seemed to be the extremes of that group. Coulter leaves no room for difference of ideas. She's part of that "with us or against us" mentality that's poisoned the country so badly.

Now which voice do we need more?
