Think about it.
Why would anyone take the difficult and dangerous step of removing a pristine projectile from an unfired round just to fake a propaganda picture when the streets of Iraq are already littered with spent ordnance and when half the population of the country has already experienced a near miss, from one side or the other?
Rifling marks might very well not show up in a snapshot, powder can be rubbed off by handling, and lack of deformation is to be expected unless the bullet hit something solid while it was still traveling at high velocity. There is no "Ah, Hah!" value to this picture at all, for either side. Get over it, people.
