You can't reason with these people. They got us into this disastrous war through stupidity and they've managed to lose it through incompetence. The best they can come up with now is a desperate attempt to find someone else to blame it on, and to pass off the inevitable consequences to. The mental contortions on this pathetic thread and its ludicrous pristine bullet smokescreen are all the evidence we need of this, just an attempt to divert scrutiny from what has happened to anyone else available to take the rap.

If this war had turned out the way they wanted, they would have gladly accepted responsibility for its success, now they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for excuses why it didn't. The evil leftist press is only one of them. But except for the true believers, it is pretty obvious to the rest of us that they screwed this one up all on their own, without any help from anyone. The noise of the argument only serves to distract us from the self-evident. Let it go, they're only talking to themselves.
