You are correct.
I have not seen the movie... just little segments of it.
My view of Moore was distorted by his acceptance speech at the oscars so it made me really not care too much about the man and his work.
This has always been a heated subject between us and at points you have understood my point of view.
This time I understand yours and I agree in the most part.
I should choose not to speak of Moore and his films, at least not until I've seen his works and have an honest opinion about them, but what I can choose to do is to look at the filmaker and how he reacts in front of an interviewer.
That is how I came to the conclusion that he might eventually do more harm to the cuase than he really means to, and this latest is a clear sign that he is heading towards that direction.
I'll make you a deal, Art.
I despise Moore as much as you despise Mel Gibson.
Pick an evening, you choose a Moore dvd, I'll choose a Gibson dvd and we sit down and watch both movies. Then, after careful inspection for weapons, we will begin the debates ;)
