You will accept no compromise, meet no one halfway, make no effort to even show the courtesy of acknowledging that those who speak with you might have good reasons to believe the way they do and that perhaps they have wrestled with these issues in an honest effort to come to grips with them.
I want to see some thread where I have jumped all over some honestly questing person who sounds like they are "wrestling with an issue," as opposed to someone who has angrily or smugly laid a politically-loaded pronouncement on the board, based on who-knows-what, as though it had been carved on Mount Ararat.
I tend to give what I get. If someone simply makes a point that's incorrect, I will try to look up answers and provide links and analysis. I'm good at that--better than a lot of people--and I get a lot of satisfaction helping people find the facts.
If someone comes up with some load of crap that would embarrass someone at an A.N.S.W.E.R. march, I'm going to land on it like a Bolo Mark XXIII. Same if its obvious that no attempt is being made to look at the facts in an issue, or if I'm accused of being a shit for not having the right viewpoint or for putting facts over feelings.
