It's all part of the overall balance equation.
Many lesbians love the company of effete males and vice-versa, because it allows them to remain dominant/submissive. Dominant males create the repulsion again because its really two male polarity fields repelling.
If reproduction were just about making the males/females demonstrate their worth to society, the human race would've been extinct a long, long time ago.
