This is my way of redirecting some of the flak hitting Tom right now. Now they can see what a lovable fuzzy bunny he is next to the extremely irritating worldview of yours truly.

When adolescents start shouting at people "You were a woman/man in your last life" with contempt, I will worry about my worldview as being harmful. If anything, when that day does come, it will give a whole lot of folks some deeper understanding of sexuality and sex relationships - as well as the realization that everyone is in the exact same boat.

In the meanwhile, fear of all that's different and increased polarization causing both fear and hate are the result. Religious hypocrisy from the clergy on the matter will be mirrored by flocks equally confused - and then fearful & guilt-ridden or prejudiced and hateful.

Understanding this issue, eventually means addressing such past-life components - which for are as unreal and unvalidated as some life-bearing world besides our own. For those who believe in the one-shot-existence, naturally, the matter is simply excused on genetics or a vague predisposition. My apparent condemnation should not be confused with hate - I place same sex relations similar to smoking, using drugs or kids who turn themselves into human pin-cushions - there is absolutely no hate involved, merely concern and compassion.
