The writer has an obvious agenda. The difference is, I'm informed about it.

When an author has such an obvious agenda, and one is trained to read through papers and in 5 seconds determine the purpose, Saletan's piece was as transparent as polished glass.

Furthering the homosexual/lesbian agenda via the major media soapbox is all swell and fine. But to pretend that I'm a homophobe because I point out the rather obvious target audience whom Saletan is marketing this "genetical science" article to, is ridiculous.

I have no emotional involvement with the issue, so I can't project myself into others positions. Since the issue is charged with fear, bigotry, violence and insecurity, this topic always proves to be one of the Zone's "don't bring up, don't mention" topics.

Gays and lesbians are a protected subgroup here - unless they are conservatives and then they arehypocritical "darker subclass" of gays.

I see who is calling homosexuals names - and it's certainly not me.

I have just as much compassion for the Senator as I do for the "non-subclass" gays - but that's because I'm one of the few who understand exactly what's going on.
