re: Fresh Cream

Can you burn me the CD? That would be enjoyable.
You could get my address from Robert.
They really rocked back then, in "those" times.
Few of us here can really appreciate it.
I was working in a club in the Village during those days and spun all the records, those "vinyl albums" as you say.
Serving up Brio and cappucinos to the Toronto elite who'd come for their baguettes and to watch the hippies, the mods and the rockers.
Maybe get a glimpse of a celebrity.

I even threw Jimi Hendrix's drummer off the front patio, he was such an ass. (Didn't know who he was then, but he was a rude flaming fag.)
Led Zeppelin played at the coffee house there for FREE. Oh the stories I can tell........Joni Mitchells' husband Chuck used to come by and help me clean up some nights. Met almost all of the early SNL guys who used to hang out there. Regis Philbin walked around in SUITS always, back then. Neil Young, Frank Zappa, Marshall Tucker, Red Bone were visitors; you'd see them sitting around.
And I dated David Clayton Thomas for awhile (another Virgo), lead singer of Blood, Sweat & Tears who wrote a song for me that topped the charts at #1 in the US for six weeks in the summer of 1969.

Heady days those were. Intense and creative. John Lennon and Yoko Ono came into town to do their STOP THE WAR bed protest. Toronto was a very happening place in the late 60's.
