As far as I'm concerned, no intellectual discourse occurred, much to the injury of the university. They barely survived that one. If they really wanted to nail him for being uneducated, they should have tested his knowledge of the sciences. Then if he could not answer, they could have legitimately criticized his poor undertanding of the universe and world he lives in. They could have legitimately labelled him ...
