Nothing to fear.

I guess in the near term one might be concerned about ones children or ones children's children, but as far as the future of humanity goes- it's a done deal. 10 million years ought to do it.

Radioactive elements we produced will have decayed. Soviet subs like the Tursk (and many others) will have collapsed to kind of cheesecloth and floated away with their weapons and reactors like ghosts in a fog. The poisons we produce will have long dissipated and broken down and the pollution in the air will have precipitated out to be consumed by plants and microbes. The "mile high metroplex" will have succumbed to earthquake, subduction, glaciations, gravity and common erosive forces and be nothing more than rolling hills of grass blanketing the rubble which will be the hidden testimony to the arrogance of mankind.

The only thing to have survived the eons will be…...that Goddamn plastic packaging!
