That old chestnut

Read up on Native Americans sometimes - they slaughtered each other and did all sorts of
nasty things, from the most primitive tribe right up to the advanced cultures of Latin and
South America - long before the Europeans came along.

It won't surprise me in the least if life out there behaves a lot like life on this planet.

So do you think hiding is going to do any good? Better to know what is out there and
try to deal with it now rather than get a sudden surprise one day.

I hope there are some more advanced and therefore more ethical species out there,
but who knows? The Universe clearly does not care what humans think or want, and
we sure as heck are not the focus of existence.
