One thing I am certain of, there is more out there beyond our universe. And there is more to our existence than our physical matter and the laws that govern it- and why couldn’t there be?

Because we don't know and is it a good idea to give an explanation that cannot be proved, reproduced when we simply don't know?
If we do anyway (give an explanation), we risk disappointing many who just don't experience the same thing and that leads to the creation of yet another religion based on someone's words rather than facts proved scientifically.
The number of religions on earth is more a proof of their weaknesses than of the freedom to worship them.

A critical mind, that's all that's needed.
