It is a good feeling to know you are in the good graces of the creator of this universe. I have often asked, with 6.5 billion people on this planet, and this planet is part of a vast universe, why would God even notice me (Or anyone else).

Then I remember that we are what he set out to make when he created this universe. We are rare and special to him. We are matter that is self aware and intelligent. 99.99999999…% of the matter in this universe is just dead matter that is not aware or intelligent. God can find a dead rock on countless worlds, but to find matter that can think, wonder and marvel at the universe…well, we are rare.

We are what he wanted when he created this universe and set it in motion following his laws. We are intelligent life that evolved independently from him. We are special to him. He does have an interest in us. And we probably have brothers out there throughout this universe that are also special to him.
