Stuck at the hospital
I also went to the hospital...twice this year...for a pericarditis.
The second time, I spent 22 days there without ever knowing (well, except 1 day before) when it would end. Instead of praying, I took it with humor (I joked with the nurses that I was nothing but a heap of meat) and patience (a patient must be patient) and sometimes thought: If I die, well, I'll die and no more worries!!!
But then, I thought, they're supposed to do this for my own health...My biggest worry was about what to do if I was going to be on sick leave for more than a month.
A learning experience!
