Whatever form we take in the afterlife, it should be interesting.
I wonder about ‘ghost’. Are they spirits who have not crossed over into God’s realm? Are they just lost? Or does God’s realm occupy the same space as our universe and this is all we can detect of them? Or perhaps its something else?
My grandmother was here for a short time after she dies. Once we had her funeral, she disappeared. She did come back and appear to my son a couple of times.
And we think she was waiting for me when I came back from the hospital a couple of weeks ago. Both of my kids say toys were moving by themselves in their room just right after we got them to bed.
One toy in particular, a stuffed cat of my daughter, moved from her bed to a corner of the room. It was in her bed when we tucked her in, and then I saw it in the corner when I tucked her in the second time. My five year old daughter promised she did not move it and said she saw it move all by itself. She said if lifted off the bed and slowly moved to the corner.
She was asleep when I left the second time. I came back a minute or so later and that stuffed cut was back on the bed! I smiled and said, “Hello grandmother. Thanks for checking up on me and my family.â€
