Anyway, the kids are very healthy. Croupe is a virus that attacks the larnyx. Not much you can do but wait it out and keep the swelling down and kid hydrated. The pneumonia and RSV are very common in preemies. My son even got a preventive shot for RSV because of the liklihood of getting it. He still got it though. Luckily the insurance paid for the shot because it cost about $1500. Don't ask me why it costs so much, but the doctor said it usually only works 50% of the time anyway. Such odds for such an expensive shot, he might have been better without it.
