thanks all, she's started getting better
I had totally forgotten about the ultrasonic humidifier we had sitting in the garage, till the doctor mentioned it. It humidifies without heating the water which keeps the air healthier. I ran it all night next to her and she is a lot better this morning. Also the fever has been gone for about 20 hours now. There is still the cough, but at least it sounds like a cough and not a seal's bark anymore. Taking her to Grandmas now, so I can get back to work. Humidifiers going too.
