Maybe you have to have spend time at Edwards and Mojave, building the rockets and watching the engines fire. Time working with the pioneers of the industry, or listening to the stories about the men with the Right Stuff told by the old guy who used to run White's Motel, and personally knew a lot of them. That shot of Chuck Yeager in the theme said it all.

The song and visuals told me that the Space Age didn't start with Zephram Cochrane, or even the invention of the airplane. It told me that we have gotten where we are because people never stopped trying, and that we will go a lot further if we don't quit.

It said a lot to me, and maybe to anyone else who has spent most of their lives struggling, with big ups and downs, to get humanity off this planet.
