I gotta quit watching the History Channel

Eri — 1/27/2008 5:23:21 PM (archived)

This morning they were talking about the New Madrid Fault which is in Missouri and runs SW from New Madrid, MO. I live in Missouri. It was discussing what would happen when the Fault does its nasty bit again. Clear up to St. Louis and along the Mississippi. Flooding, destruction. Yikes! Who picked Earth to populate anyway? Tornadoes, Tsunamis, Hurricanes, Earthquakes, floods...

Actually, it's an exciting planet, vibrant and alive. It may just get rid of its human infestation one of these days so it can go back to becoming pristine again. Who will replace us as the intelligent species on this planet, say a few hundred thousand years down the road?
