Its pretty obviously a vicious flame but Buck comes from the liberal "camp" and not a single soul expressed disapproval, not even Bowser who just a short time ago, when the tables were turning, crowed with indignation whenever a conservative leveled the slightest insult against a liberal.

But Bowser was right (ACK!). I remember when flames flew on CE like Flubber on a squash court, often spilling onto Off-Topic. It's more civilized now and I for one, like it better. If someone pisses you off, you're always free to unlease your wrath upon them in the proper venue- Flame.

So what was Lee's offense? He used no profanity and directed no "vitriol" to any single individual. What he did was to offer an unwanted opinion and he showed little respect for Eri by going off-topic with a point that didn't belong in the conversation.

And what about "You"?

I think it's a toss-up between Lee's post and your reaction to it- they're both out of line. If Mary Anne were here, she' grab you both by the ears and march you down the hall...

You’re probably wondering if I had a point. It’s about how we should treat each other. You can’t chastise Lee from across the aisle and then look the other way when Buck swoops down on some unsuspecting Clinton detractor and goes for blood. (He really does have a thing for Hillary doesn’t he?…) :)
