"Bush recession?"

Just curious...I can see only one major political variable that has changed over the past five years or so. Why isn't it the "Democratic Congress recession?" ;)

I predicted a long time ago that Bush would only be connected to economic performance when the numbers started to drop. So far, I'm right. Try to find anything about the "Bush boom" in 2004-2006.
