and I was NOT welcome. The Texans HATED newcomers/"for'ners".......Damn Yankees!!

I had never encountered chiggers before and I was baptized by fire when I encountered those nasty red thangs . Gawd...from asshole to appetite I was on fire....and itch...oy vay....
I was complaining to one of my clients when I was informed by a native Texan co-worker..."If you don't like it here, LEAVE"....

Well allrighty then....that was pretty much the mindset back then.

Heh...ain't that away now.....*spit*;)
