I obviously misunderstood what you said earlier, probably because it was so outageously absurd it simply refused to register. If you really believe that half the population of the entire country is way too far left for their own (and your) good, and that all the people they vote for are the equivalent of tinhorn third world Marxists then there is little you and I can talk about further. I am one of that half and if you consider me the same as some supporter of Hugo Chavez then there is really no common ground between us and no possibility of there ever being any.
What I can't understand is, if you consider me and my ideas (and the half of the country like me) that mistaken and that evil, why do you spend so much time and effort trying to convince us otherwise? Your own philosophy tells us you won't sway us, that we're too brainwashed, too well organized, too delusional, too disciplined. Why this need for validation and acceptance in the house of your enemies? Don't tell us you're doing it for our own good because I don't think we'll believe you.
The question is rhetorical. You don't have to answer it.
