re: The breakdown of synaptic pathways

Its interesting how some things stick. I immersed myself int he german language for 2 years, but hardly ever speak or write it anymore. Its been 11 years since I used the language daily, however I picked up a habit of capitalizing all my nouns when I type. Its weird that 2 years of my life has impacted my writing of english in such a way. I also can't spell words with double vowels anymore, and always get Tuesday wrong unless I purposely spell it the way it looks wrong in my head.

The other thing I've noticed, and I can't blame the german language on this, but when typing I constantly mix up the spelling of homophones. I never mix up which is which in my mind, however when rereading what I typed I invariably type the wrong one occassionally.
