It is all about the above that takes precedence when remembering past events.

No two people will ever remember the unfolding of an event the same. It is impossible.

No two people are on the same page with anything.~ For example, even a happily married couple who are feverishly saving for a long awaited vacation. The goal is the same but each person will come away with different accounts of the lasting memory. Similarities, sure...but a sunrise emotes different feelings in each of us...a lovely scent of orange blossoms, say, permeating the air may catapult one person to their youth..while the other just thinks it smells lovely....which is just as valid...both worth remembering..or not~

Everyone has different needs to be filled.

The past is a window into each ones' soul and immutable. The present is being in the moment....not focusing on the past or future....and the future is ours to decide what to do with.
