I read the link, and started drawing up a response, but instead I keep getting replies here denying that AGW is a reality, so I figure I have to deal with that BS before we can possibly have a meaningful discussion of solutions.
The link you gave tosses around a lot of numbers that I have to check before responding...And then to discuss the practicality of the possible solutions I need to look up other data, such as the percentage of powerthe US gets from coal vs. other sources, what percentage of our carbon emission comes from cars, how much would power generation need to increase to move to more electric cars on the road... and much more- I have some of those numbers, and I have links to more - but what the hell is the point when you and others keep claiming that AGW is a massive fantasy?!
HOW MANY TIMES have I said that the political discussion BEGINS when talking about what to do in response to AGW? I have repeatedly said that is an issue for serious debate- but as long as you continue to deny the fact that AGW IS happening discussion of solutions is pretty damn pointless, isnt it?
I have no problems going into the numbers as they pertain to possible solutions, hell, you know I love doing that - but what the hell is the point when the mindless choir here keeps throwing the same old BS up for me to shoot down while they scream that AGW is a conspiracy of scientists!
